So folks Jake here I am back for another guest post. Now with Rochelle and I out there skiing anf burning a ton of enery on our skiing and backcountry adventures here is one of our favs. We all like a hot high protein breakfast when we are out in the backcountry but it rarly ever happens. Well let’s take a look at a light weight and easy way to get just that a hot high protein breakfast.  First your gonna need a great backcounty cooking system small and lightweight I prefer the Jetboil! It has met and exceded all of my requirements. Next you will need some eggs a plain old snadwich sized ziploc bag (Ziploc brand works best) and what ever spices you

Let the water work.

like. If you want an even bigger treat you can add a couple of strips of cooked bacon. First I fill my Jetboil with 2 cups water and start to heat the water. I take my eggs and crack them into that plain old ziploc bag, add your spices and yummy meat treat (bacon) and wal-la your ready to cook ‘em. Take the lid off the Jetboil and leaving one corner of the ziploc unzipped place the ziploc in the boiling water.  and put the lid back over the Jetboil leaving the top of the zip lock exposed. Let the boiling water do its work,

Cooking them eggs.

I like my eggs well cooked however you can taylor the cooking time to fit your liking. You may have to check the eggs a couple of times. But in just a few minutes you will have a piping hot breakfast.
